6mm Yellow Paper Crutch Filter Tip and Sizing Guide
Choosing the right crutch starts with size, then color. The 6mm Yellow Paper Crutch Filter Tip measures 6mmx20mm and is built for slim pre-rolls. This page explains where it sits in our lineup and how shops use yellow to organize their menus.
Quick Size Comparison
| Tip width | Best for |
| 5mm | Skinny joints, minis, dogwalkers |
| 6mm | Slim papers, half-gram cones |
| 7mm | Standard half-gram and gram pre-rolls |
| 9mm | King size and wider gram cones |
If you roll slim, the 6mm yellow tip gives a snug fit without forcing the paper open.
Building a Color-Coded Menu
Many retailers assign a tip color to each category so staff can grab the right product in seconds. A simple system might look like this:
- Yellow: sativa or energizing strains
- Green: hybrids
- Purple: indica or evening strains
- Natural: house or value rolls
Yellow is especially easy to spot under display lighting, which makes it a strong anchor color for any system.
Who Should Choose This Tip?
The 6mm yellow crutch is a smart pick for budtenders preparing house rolls, small craft brands testing a new color system, and event vendors who want pre-rolls that stand out on a busy table. Because it is sold individually, you can order a small quantity to test fit with your favorite papers before scaling up.
Yellow and Strain Storytelling
Citrus, mango, and tropical cultivars practically ask for a sunny tip. Matching the crutch to the flavor profile reinforces the product story and makes it more memorable. Customers who enjoyed a lemon-forward pre-roll will remember “the one with the yellow tip” the next time they visit.
Build and Feel
The tip is formed from dense, rolled paper with an open center. It stays round when the cone is packed, keeps the draw clear as the joint burns down, and gives the smoker a sturdy end to hold.
Sourced in America
This yellow crutch comes from a U.S. manufacturer. Buying domestic keeps the shade consistent from batch to batch, which matters when color is part of your product identity.
More Ways to Buy
